This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the conduct expected of all users of the Veloris Global Ltd website at veloris-global.com, the application portal at veloris-global.com/apply, and the VelorisOS platform (collectively, the “Services”). The AUP forms part of our Terms and Conditions and supplements any engagement letter or partnership agreement entered into with Veloris.
Permitted use
The Services are intended for use by businesses and professional counterparties exploring or engaged in the use of regulated payment infrastructure. You may use the Services to: inquire about our services; submit a properly authorised application on behalf of an entity you represent; upload documentation in support of a KYB review; communicate with us regarding an existing engagement; and otherwise interact with us in the normal course of professional business.
Prohibited use — unlawful and high-risk activity
You must not use the Services in connection with, or for the benefit of, any of the following:
- any activity that is unlawful under any applicable law or regulation;
- entities or individuals subject to sanctions imposed by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Republic of Cyprus, or the Special Administrative Region;
- Ponzi, pyramid, multi-level-marketing-recruitment or other fraudulent schemes;
- unlicensed gambling or gaming operators;
- operators in any vertical where the underlying activity is unlawful in the jurisdiction of operation;
- the production, sale or distribution of controlled substances, weapons, ammunition or explosives;
- child exploitation in any form;
- operators flagged on multiple credible high-risk lists without resolution;
- any activity that exposes Veloris, any Provider or any counterparty to material regulatory, reputational, sanctions or legal risk.
Prohibited use — abuse of the Services
You must not:
- submit false, misleading, forged or altered documentation in connection with an application or engagement;
- impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- interfere with the operation of the Services, the application portal or any Veloris infrastructure;
- attempt to access any part of the Services for which you are not authorised;
- introduce malware, viruses, or any other malicious code or program into the Services;
- conduct automated scraping, harvesting or extraction of content from the Services beyond what is permitted by our robots policy;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent any rate limiting, access control or other technical measure protecting the Services;
- use the Services to send unsolicited bulk communications.
Enforcement
Where we reasonably suspect a breach of this AUP, we may, without notice and without limiting our other rights and remedies: refuse, suspend or terminate access to the Services; refuse to accept or process any application; report the matter to the relevant Provider or to the relevant authority; and pursue such other remedies as are available to us under contract or applicable law.
